Hi everyone! Just a quick update: the printing is done and my advance copies arrived! Here are some photos for you:

 (There is a bit of a typo on the back text where some words got deleted, sadly I didn't notice in time to correct it, but I hope that doesn't dampen your excitement!)

The bulk decks will be on their way to me soon. The on time arrival is estimated for mid July, but I was told to expect delays, so it could very well be August. I'll keep you updated!

In the meantime, I will be sending surveys next week and making another detailed post about those. You will have plenty of time to fill them out, don't worry! Other questions will be answered in that post to come.

Printing Schedule Update!

Hi everyone! Last week I approved unbound color proofs from the printer, and so they have given me an updated schedule: the decks COULD actually arrive on my doorstep as early as July 2nd! I'd tacked on a few extra months to be cautious when estimating Kickstarter reward delivery. They qualified that with saying there are a lot of shipping delays right now, and it'll be hard to say what the actual delivery date is until it's cleared US customs at the end of June. So it could very well take longer than that after all.

That said, it's possible you could all receive your decks this summer instead of this fall! Once I have confirmation that the decks have shipped to me from China, I will send out surveys through Backerkit to collect addresses, add-ons, etc, and post an announcement to be super sure you don't miss it and contact anyone who may need their package held/prioritized in the case that you're moving addresses or something similar.

This isn't official yet, but I wanted to let y'all know of the possibility! I should get some hard copy advances sometime around the end of the month/early June, so I'll post pictures when those arrive! <3

Postcard Set Poll Results!

Hi everyone!

As mentioned in the previous update, I've now closed the survey to determine which four cards will be in the free postcard set for Kickstarter backers. And the winner is: The Star, The Moon, The Sun, The World!

It was a close 60% to 52% for The Fool, The Diviner, The Lovers, The Numinous, but I like this result since I've already had larger prints available of three of those for years. I may make them available as add-ons in Backerkit later since, well, I still have a LOT in stock from the original Numinous Tarot Kickstarter in 2017 and would like to get rid of them, ha. Despite semi-regular requests for prints, they don't actually sell very well, so I tend not to invest much in them these days.

In other news, I approved some digital proofs this morning for the deck and box and submitted a correction for the book interior to make sure everything comes out perfect. The hard-copy proofs should be on their way to me via express shipping this week, I expect! Will post pics when they arrive.

Funded + What's Next + Postcard Poll Reminder

Whooo, we did it! Thank you all SO MUCH for your incredible support getting this campaign over 300% funded! I'm so excited and I can't wait to put it all to good use getting these decks out to you and improving the way I do business for the future. 

As a physical thank you for your support, every backer will get a free postcard set. You can vote on which cards are in that set here.The poll will be open until the morning of Monday April 19th, after which I will post the results. 

What's Next?

Here is a brief rundown of the schedule from here on out:

• The files have been sent to the printer and approved. Soon, they will send me physical hard proofs for my approval, which I will post pictures of so y'all can see the lovely new box/book designs.
• Once the proofs are approved, the decks can go into production. When that's finished, they will ship to me from China, which takes about a month. 
• When I get the notification that the decks have shipped to me (this will be in July if things stay on schedule), I will send out address surveys via Backerkit. You will be able to fill out your address and add any extra items you may want to your order that you didn't get during the campaign.
• Once the decks arrive, I will lock orders/lock addresses. You will get emails from Backerkit letting you know 48hrs before this happens in case you need to change something. I will also post updates here as a reminder & requesting messages from anyone who may be moving or need their order prioritized/held, etc. 
• Last year it took me about 2.5 weeks to ship ~500 orders combined from the Kickstarter & preorders. This year there are 500 Kickstarter backers to start with, so with preorders my total order load will be larger, meaning it will probably take a bit longer to do shipping (although now that I and some of my friends in the area are vaccinated, I'm hoping to get some help to speed this up). 
• Backerkit will send you an email with a tracking number when your order ships. You will be able to log into Backerkit to check the status of your order at any time. I will post updates with estimates about shipping time and what to do if your package doesn't arrive.

Those are the basics! I will continue to post updates here about the details of each step as they happen. Right now my contact at the printer has estimated the decks will ship to me in July, meaning they could arrive in August, but given the state of the world and global shipping, we'll see. I am still sticking with my original reward delivery estimate of October 2021 just in case there are unforeseen delays.

This includes digital rewards. Address surveys have to be filled out and locked before I can distribute guidebook PDFs, so those will also go out around the same time the decks and physical rewards do.

Again, thank you SO MUCH! If you know anyone who missed the campaign but would like a deck, preorders will be available next week, and then after I ship the Kickstarter rewards later this year, they will be in my shop for direct sale as well as with a variety of small retailers in the US, Canada, China, and Australia. I'm still working on Europe and the UK (Brexit changes are a huge pain, I know!!), but hope to have it available there as well so folks can get around the ridiculous shipping charges and times.

Hi everyone! Two things today:

1. I've sent the files off to the printer! Hopefully everything is in order, but if not, I'll fix whatever issues they find asap so that they can get hard copy proofs out for me to approve. Yay!

2. I've decided to give Kickstarter backers an exclusive free set of four postcards as a thank you for putting the campaign way over goal!

You can take a survey here to help me decide which four cards to include in that set. 

There will be just one set chosen for the free backer reward to keep things simple come packing time (trust me, I learned this the hard way with the first NT Kickstarter where everyone got to choose their free print, haha, it adds SO much time when you're doing 500+ packages at once), but if there's enough demand for other options I may offer them for purchase in the future. We'll see!
