Guidebook PDFs + Shipping (mostly) Done!

Hi everyone! As of today, shipping for both Kickstarter pledges and preorders is basically done! Yaaaaay!!
I say basically because I do have a small handful of packages that got delayed because I had to wait for more boxes of a certain size, and there are still around 15 people who haven't filled out their surveys. I'll be finishing up and checking in with all this today and next week.
Digital downloads of the guidebook PDFs for the Numinous Tarot and Threadbound Oracle will go up on Backerkit later today (Friday September 3)! If you ordered either deck, you should get an email from Backerkit with download links. If you have any trouble accessing them, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll get them to you (but PLEASE try troubleshooting with Backerkit first, and maybe wait until Monday to email me).
As always, I couldn't have done this without all of you! Thank you so much for making it possible for me to have this incredible job and make these decks!
What's planned for the future?
If you'd like to keep up with my work, there are a few ways you can do that:
Right now I'm working on the second book in the Eternal Library Series (planned release date February 2022) and a vegetarian food-themed Tarot deck called the Stone Soup Tarot. I've posted sixteen cards for the SST deck on Patreon so far, and once I'm able to get back to painting more soon, those will go up as well! I'm planning to publish this deck in 2023, so this is a super early, exclusive sneak peek at the ongoing process. I won't be posting the cards publicly for quite some time, aside from a few here and there!
The Ace of Vegetables (Ace of Swords) from the upcoming Stone Soup Tarot.
The new Numinous Spirit Press shop will reopen on September 13th, with all of my decks and merch available to anyone who missed the Kickstarter/preorder period. I need a week off from packing stuff, haha. An email will go out to the mailing list, announcements will be made on IG, and Patrons will get a special discount coupon when that happens.

Shipping Info + Digital Downloads + Other Questions

Hi everyone! Shipping is underway, so I'm back here to give you more info on what to expect and what to do in the case anything goes awry in the process!
DIGITAL REWARDS
When digital rewards are available, you should get an email from Backerkit alerting you and giving you a download link. If you don't see it, you should also be able to log in to Backerkit to find it, if it's been distributed. So far, I've only just distributed The Thread That Binds ebooks this morning, and nothing else! I will be distributing digital PDF copies of the Numinous Tarot guidebook and the Threadbound Oracle guidebook sometime within the next week, once I do another check through the files to make sure they're good to go.
Estimated Shipping Times
Shipping around the world is STILL impacted by various global events, so delays are possible! These are only estimates based on my personal experience fulfilling orders and USPS guidelines:
IMPORTANT NOTE: The day you get your shipping email may not be the day I drop your order at the post office! Generally, I pack orders one day and then drop them off the next morning, to avoid traffic/crowds. Orders packed on Friday may not hit the post office until Monday--I haven't decided yet if I want to go on Saturday mornings, which is also when I do my grocery shopping.
US ORDERS - domestic orders are all shipping via USPS Priority Mail, mainly flat rate. Generally, these say they take 1-3 days, but in some cases it may be up to 4 or 5, especially when considering the above.
NON-US ORDERS - international shipping varies greatly! Orders with one deck will ship via USPS First Class International, which under their guidelines can take 2-6 weeks to reach the destination (sometimes I see it go faster, but don't expect it!). Orders with multiple decks or paperback novel add ons will ship via USPS Priority Flat Rate International, which they say takes 6-10 days, but of course could be a few days longer.
WHEN TO CONTACT IF YOUR PACKAGE DOESN'T ARRIVE
US ORDERS - after 2 weeks from getting your tracking email
NON-US ORDERSWITH ONE DECK - after 8 weeks from getting your tracking email
NON-US ORDERS WITH MULTIPLE DECKS - after 3 weeks from getting your tracking email
If your order doesn't arrive after these dates, please email me at [email protected] and I'll see what I can do! There are always a couple of packages that go astray and I'm happy to help.
DISCREET PACKAGING
I know that in some places and for some people, receiving a very queer Tarot deck may not be entirely safe! All of my packaging is plain and devoid of branding. The return address has my name on it, not Numinous Spirit Press. Customs labels for international orders list the contents generically, with terms such as "card deck and book," "postcard set," and "polyester scarf." Once in a while, a customs form might have the actual names of things if I miss changing it manually (I'm working on the automated info, but my brain doesn't always catch everything), but I try my best!
CUSTOMS FEES
I try my best to mark international packages in a way that will hopefully avoid extra fees when you receive it, but it doesn't always work. It's difficult to know all the exact rules and regulations for 20+ countries, where the info isn't always accessible in English. Also....there are laws, haha. Backers & customers take full responsibility for any additional postage/tax/etc fees which may be necessary on receipt of the package.
WHAT IF I DON'T GET A TRACKING/SHIPPING EMAIL?
It's going to take me a few weeks to get everything sent out! If you haven't gotten an email confirming your order has shipped by September 13, please first log in to Backerkit to check that your survey was all filled out, your card charged where applicable, etc, and then contact me at [email protected] if there is still a problem.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY TRACKING NUMBER?
If it's for some reason not in your email (sometimes the automation doesn't understand that international customs numbers are also the tracking or the email goes to spam/promotions or an old email address), you should be able to log in to Backerkit and find your tracking number, if your package has been shipped.
DAMAGED OR MISSING CARDS/REWARDS/ITEMS
If your deck arrives damaged, please contact me at [email protected] with photos of the damage. I ask not because I need proof (I trust you all!), but for my personal records, in case there's ever something I need to bring up with the printer. I'm happy to replace decks, guidebooks, individual cards, and other items with manufacturing damage (there are always a few) or damage from shipping mishandling.
If your order is missing an item or items, please also contact me at the email address above. I have a packing system that helps cut way down on such mistakes, but they do happen occasionally since I'm only human! Even if it's the free postcard set offered to Kickstarter backers, I'm happy to slap a stamp on that envelope and send anything that's missing your way free of extra charges.
ANOTHER ISSUE NOT LISTED HERE
Email me! [email protected] is the best way to make sure I see your message. Kickstarter messages are also OK, but please don't DM me on Instagram about order issues, as I don't check my pending messages there very often. There is a contact form on my website that goes to my email, but sometimes when I reply people don't receive it (I suspect from typos when entering their email address in the form), so if you can, it's better to write me an email directly.
WHEN CONTACTING ME ABOUT AN ISSUE
When emailing me, please include the name you used on your order, the email address you use to log in to Kickstarter/Backerkit, and your shipping address so that I have all the possible info I need to find you in my records. If you have a screenshot of an order confirmation/shipping confirmation with that info, that's great, too! The more info, the better!
Please allow 1-2 weeks for response. If it's been more than 2 weeks and I haven't responded, please try emailing again! I do my best to get to every email in a timely fashion, but once in a while they slip through the cracks--I might read it, plan to respond, and then it gets buried under other emails. I appreciate your patience and ask that you please be kind in your messages--I always have my backers/customers in mind and politeness/kindness when resolving an issue makes the process go 1000% smoother on my end, though I absolutely understand any feelings of frustration or upset <3
WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR DECK
Please feel free to post photos/videos/etc on social media!! Word of mouth is a great way to help me out, and I love seeing people being excited about their decks! I am more than happy if you want to post photos on Twitter/IG, use the decks in readings for your clients as a professional, and/or feature it in a Youtube video or blog. My only request is that you either tag me (@numinousspirit on IG) and/or provide a link to my website (numinousspiritpress.com) in your description!
MAILING LIST FOR MORE INFO
Also, consider joining my news-only mailing list! I send around 4-5 emails per year with important information about new projects, product availability, sales, giveaways, and other things you might not want to miss. I try to keep it as succinct as possible without too much extra rambling :)

Hi everyone! FANTASTIC NEWS: THE DECKS FINALLY ARRIVED YESTERDAY!
Obviously, there was a bit of a delay after my last update, so once again I thank you all for being so patient and understanding. Yesterday's delivery went smoothly, and so now all the decks are in my possession and ready to go! I am still waiting on the bags and spread cloths; the bags have just shipped so I assume the cloths will soon, as well, so any orders with those items will ship a little later, as soon as those items are in my possession. Everything else, I've got!
Here's the plan going forward:
1. Monday August 16, shipping begins!
2. Shipping will start with the simplest orders first, aka, orders that are JUST the Numinous Tarot deck, along with wholesale shop orders. I will mix batches of US and international orders; don't worry, I'm not saving international for last, I know how long it can take to reach y'all!
3. I expect it will take me about 3-4 weeks to complete shipping. I am one person working with some assistance from my partner, and I have chronic illness that affects my energy levels. But this is my sixth Kickstarter, and I have a system!
4. When your order ships, you will get an email from Backerkit confirming that it has been shipped (read: packaged, not necessarily dropped off at the post office yet, though I typically do that the next business day) and including tracking information. You can also log in at backerkit.com at any time to check your order status and tracking number.
5. I will make another post next week about what to expect when it comes to shipping times, and what to do if your order is missing, late, damaged, etc.
If you haven't already, please log in to backerkit.com to make sure your address is correct; if it's already been locked and you can't change it, email ([email protected]) or message me on Kickstarter ASAP!

Schedule/delivery Update!

Hi everyone! Just a super quick update: the original date I was given for receiving the Numinous Tarot decks has been pushed back from July 16th to July 30th. As I said in previous posts, I was told to expect this sort of delay, and there it is. Delivery estimates for international freight shipping (especially with all the recent disruptions) can be difficult for both me and you--I have to be ready, and get you all ready, just in case it's on time, even though that risks people feeling disappointed when there's a delay. Thank you all for being patient and understanding!
That said, my original estimate on the Kickstarter for when I'd ship your rewards was October, so really, we're still ahead of schedule shipping in August ;)
Delightfully, most backers have already filled out their surveys on Backerkit. Thank you so much! I sent reminder emails to the ~50 or so who haven't yet, but there's no serious rush since there's still about 2 weeks until everything comes in, and the shipping itself will take several weeks more.

Surveys Sent! + Vacation + Schedule Update

Hi everyone! Earlier this week I sent out a test batch of surveys, and since things looked good, I just hit the button to send the rest of them. These surveys will collect your shipping address and any other information through Backerkit, including add-ons and such.
You should get an email this week from Backerkit to the email address you use on Kickstarter with a link to the survey.
I will be on vacation next week from Sunday June 20 - Sunday June 27. That means I will not be able to answer messages, emails, or support requests until I return the following week. I will not have my computer with me and my phone will not have good service where I'm going. Thank you so much for your patience in advance, I promise I will get back to you in a timely manner when I can :)
The updated schedule from the printer has the decks arriving in mid-July if they are on time! It's entirely possible there will be delays during shipping or in customs, but fingers crossed. In case they do arrive on time, I will start shipping out rewards/orders in July and August, so make sure you fill out your survey ASAP!
